Kadamattom St. George Orthodox Syrian Church is situated at a serene beautiful calm and cool place at Aikkaranadu panchayat, kunnathunadu thaluk, Ernakulam district, Kerala - the Gods own country in India. It is between Ernakulam and Muvattupuzha, 30km from Ernakulam and 10km from Muvattupuzha. It is believed that the church was built in Malabar Era 40 and month Makaram 25th.The church fesitval is being celebrated every year in the same date.

There are about 2000 families under this Parish spread around Kadamattom. The Church was owned a vast area of paddy fields so as to get 1000 'Paras' of paddy per annum.

On the southern wall of the Madbaha, there exists a Persian Cross which is having four equal arms. This Cross has a close resemblance with the cross in the Valiyapally Kottayam, St. Thomas mount, Madras and Catholic church, Muttichira.
